While I implicitly recommend each and every one of the movies that I review in The Lucha Diaries - except, of course, for those that I flag as being a must to avoid even at the cost of having to chew one's own eyes out - there are certain ones that merit being singled out for highly recommended status.  The below listed lucha movies are ones that I feel are both a must see for fans of the genre and a great starting point for anyone interested in dabbling in it.  In fact, if you find that you are unable to find any joy in Santo contra las Mujeres Vampiro or Santo y Blue Demon contra los Monstruous, it is highly unlikely that you will find much to like in any of the other movies reviewed on this site.  So shove off.
